Lucky Aussie Wins His Second Big Lottery Prize
The man who had previously won an AU$40,000 prize, now holds one out of six division one winning entries from Saturday's Gold Lotto for a sweet AU$3.3 million payday

A fortunate lottery player from Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, recently won his second life-changing prize. The lucky man, whose name was not publicly disclosed, hit one of the six division one winning entries from Gold Lotto for a multi-million-dollar win.
Lightning Strikes Twice with Second Major Win for Queensland Player
Not much is known about the fortunate winner besides that he is from Bundaberg and that he purchased his winning ticket at Chippindalls Newsagency on 116 Bourbong Street. The lottery game’s Saturday drawing 4547 saw winning numbers 18, 41, 8, 19, 31 and 43. Supplementary numbers for this particular Gold Lotto draw were 9 and 11.
Across Australia, there were a total of six division one winning entries. Two fortunate players each in South Australia and Victoria scored division one wins, while in New South Wales, there was one winning entry and one from Queensland, where the Wide Bay resident lives.
Each division one winning entry brought a sweet AU$3,333,333.34 ($2.12 million) prize. The win took to the Bundaberg man by surprise. According to The Lott, the man’s ticket wasn’t registered, which means that he had to check the ticket to find out about the big win. Had the man registered the ticket, an official with the lottery would have contacted him to notify him by phone.
Still, this didn’t make the experience less exciting for the Wide Bay resident. Speaking to a lottery official, he admitted that this isn’t his first significant prize won from playing the lottery. The Bundaberg man said that he had previously won a prize of AU$40,000 ($25,400), after participating in a lottery syndicate along with other people.
Considering the multi-million-dollar prize, the fortunate man admitted that it cannot be compared in any way to his initial win. In addition, the lucky man thanked the lottery for notifying him about the life-changing win.
“I’ve won division one before, but it was shared other people in a syndicate. We won $40,000 each, but $3.3 million is next level,“
the lucky winner said
The Lucky Wide Bay Resident Eyes Purchasing a Home
Earlier this month, we reported that a lottery player won AU$2,599,857.54 ($1.63 million) from Saturday X Lotto.
Prior to this life-changing win, another lucky player scored a mind-blowing prize. That’s the case for a Queensland resident who held the single top prize Powerball entry, winning a staggering jackpot of AU$60 million ($37.7 million).
Focusing once again on the latest win, the lucky Gold Lotto player said that he hadn’t told anyone about the life-changing win. “I plan on keeping it on the downlow,” he said, adding that the win brought him much excitement.
When the Wide Bay resident was asked if he had any plans about the windfall, he admitted that he didn’t have a house. “I don’t own a house, but now I’ll be able to buy one! I’ll have to find a way to celebrate the win,” he exclaimed.
