GeoComply Brings FanDuel Veteran as New CEO
One of the leaders in geolocation software that has contributed to changing lawmakers’ minds about legalizing online sports betting has a new man at the helm

GeoComply, a specialist in the provision of geolocation software for gaming and sports betting operators across the United States and beyond, has announced that current CEO Anna Sainsbury will transition into a new role, and her job will now rest with a former FanDuel executive and industry veteran, Kip Levin.
FanDuel Veteran Brings Proven Experience in Driving Growth
Kip Levin used to work as president at FanDuel and is a well-seasoned professional in the sector. Sainsbury, who is also the co-founder, will move on to become the executive chair as a result. Commenting on the new appointment, Sainsbury said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Kip Levin to GeoComply. His extensive experience and strategic vision are perfectly aligned with our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers.”
Anna Sainsburry, GeoComply executive chair
She paid particular attention to Levin’s ability to lead GeoComply forward and help innovate the company which has been the de facto champion in the sector, although competition has started knocking on its door as well, with other companies pushing back against patent infringement claims successfully in court.
Notably, Xpoint defeated GeoComply’s claim that it had infringed on patented technology. Levin will leverage his track record, expertise, and skills to help GeoComply drive innovation and achieve growth targets in what appear to be more competitive times ahead.
Commenting on his appointment, he appeared to be no less excited about this new opportunity, explaining:
“I am incredibly excited to join GeoComply, a company with a strong reputation for innovation and a commitment to customer success. The opportunities in this space are immense, and I look forward to working with Anna, David, and the entire GeoComply team to build on the company’s success and drive further growth for our clients.”

Levin said that he has had hands-on experience with scaling businesses and driving product innovation which should prove instrumental in helping him steer GeoComply towards better results overall.
GeoComply to Face More Competition as New CEO Takes Over
GeoComply can benefit from such expertise as its loss of patent exclusivity will mean more competition in the US geolocation market and far beyond.
Xpoint is for the time being the immediate threat to GeoComply’s own market share and capabilities. GeoComply though has been leveraging its expertise to help inform legislative decisions, and has recently released new data set indicating that Texans are keen to get sports gambling legalized.
In the meantime, GeoComply teamed up with Snaitech to help improve fraud prevention across the operator’s businesses in Europe.
