DraftKings Inks Partnership with Detroit Pistons

NBA team, Detroit Pistons inked a partnership with the sports betting operator DraftKings today. Under the agreement, DraftKings became an official sports betting partner of the Pistons.

Detroit Pistons and DraftKings Ink A Partnership Deal

DraftKings, the daily fantasy and sports betting operator has announced a new partnership with the NBA franchise Detroit Pistons today. Under the new deal, the sports betting company becomes an Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner and iGaming Partner of the team.

Furthermore, the partnership makes DraftKings an Official Sports Betting Partner of the Pistons. Under the agreement, the company will benefit from branded courtside LED signage as well as in-game basket pad branding. Moreover, the company also gains access to official Pistons’ trademarks and logos.

The new partnership also brings exciting opportunities for Pistons fans. They may have the opportunity to compete for multiple experimental prizes including a  Pistons away game trip, a ‘Court of Dreams’ group event held at Little Caesars Arena, ‘Piston for the Day’ VIP experience.

As a part of the VIP package, fans will have the opportunity to sign an “honorary Pistons contract to participate in a private, in-stadium shootaround“. Moreover, fans may have the opportunity to tour the official locker room facilities and also sit at the courtside at a Pistons regular season home game.

He outlined that the team is looking forward to utilizing its platform to help DraftKings grow both their presence and connectivity to Pistons fans and the greater Metro Detroit communities.

She outlined that with this deal, DraftKings deepens its relationship with the prominent local team. As a result, more immersive fan experiences are going to be generated for both residents of Michigan who are already familiar with the regulated gaming products and newcomers too.

The newest partnership by DraftKings comes at a time when the company prepares to launch mobile sports betting and online gaming in Michigan. With that in mind, licensing and regulatory approval is still pending.
