BetMGM Arrives in South Dakota as US Betting Industry Forges Ahead
BetMGM continues to expand its sports betting product offering with a fresh launch in South Dakota. The iGaming and betting operator formed a partnership with both the Liv Hospitality’s Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort and Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resorts to gain access to the market. The partnerships were signed in August in preparation for the present launch.
Bringing Spot-on Retail Betting Experience in South Dakota
As a result, the Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort now features a dedicated sportsbook decked out with all the necessary equipment for a fulfilling in-person betting experience. The facility hosts flat-screen TVs, self-serving kiosks and retail betting windows for those who prefer the human touch when placing a wager.
Cadillac Jack’s facility is styled in a similar fashion, with both writers and betting kiosks readily available to accept all wagers. BetMGM users will soon be able to get access to the mobile betting app right on-site as the regulator is still going through a preliminary approval process for it.
The app will then complement the sports betting experience and make it possible to place a wager directly from a handheld device. However, sports fans have to be on the facility’s grounds to be able to access it. BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt commented on this new launch and said, “Liv Hospitality’s prime resort locations in Deadwood make it an ideal partner for us. Together, we look forward to bringing the BetMGM sports betting experience to South Dakota sports fans.”
More Launches Happening or on the Way
This partnership comes on the tail of a newly-minted market entry in Arizona as BetMGM is quickening its expansion pace in new jurisdictions across the United States. The brand similarly inked a market access deal in Puerto Rico, taking its offer beyond the continental US. BetMGM similarly made its mark on Wyoming just recently.
