Trustly Strengthens European Leadership Team with New Hires

Global payment method Trusty strengthened its European management team with two new strategic appointments. Confirmation of the new hires emerged Wednesday and sees Jussi Lindberg fill in the role of chief revenue officer, while Eileen Chibb takes over the position of chief operations officer. The experts selected for the two newly created roles are expected to play an important part in the company’s expansion on the Old Continent. In their respective roles, the duo will report directly to Johan Tjärnberg, Trustly’s CEO.

Taking the role of chief revenue officer, Lindberg will oversee the growth and diversification of Trustly Europe. Leveraging his extensive experience, he will focus on different growth opportunities, including enterprise merchants.

Prior to joining Trustly, Lindberg accumulated a decade of experience within the e-commerce and payments verticals. He played an important role with Adyen in its expansion to a global payment powerhouse with clients that included Netflix, Uber and H&M, among others. Outside of Adyen, he was also a part of eBay and PayPal.

On the other hand, Chibb will focus on elevating the merchant experience. Her responsibilities as chief operations officer will include overseeing support teams, as well as finance operations and financial crime prevention.

Before becoming a part of Trustly, Chibb held the role of chief operating officer at BROCC, a leading fintech company. Her extensive background experience includes a five-year tenure with Klarna, where she held different senior-level roles, including business operations director.

Johan Tjärnberg, Trustly Group’s CEO, welcomed Lindberg and Chibb to the company’s C-suite. He praised their expertise and knowledge, predicting that they will play a key role in the future expansion of Trustly. Finally, Tjärnberg said that the company anticipates growing to a leadership position in the pan-European payment market.

Chibb shared the excitement of her new colleague. She spoke about the leadership role Trustly holds in the digital payments vertical. Last but not least, Chibb said that she would be delighted to collaborate with the company’s team of experts.
