Sportradar to Provide FDJ With Unique Soccer Video Highlights

Sportradar has signed an agreement with Française des Jeux (FDJ) and thanks to this newly formed partnership, Sportradar will supply the French operator with automated match highlights and help it strengthen fan engagement for ParionsSport en ligne, a sports betting brand by FDJ.

Customers Will Receive 30-Second Video Content

ParionsSport will benefit from Sportradar’s live channel promotion services as it will provide its customers with short, 30-second-long video clips from matches. In order to receive this video content, customers will have to subscribe and in doing so, they will receive push notifications on their mobile devices.

Patrick Mostboeck, Sportradar’s global director for video and streaming products stated that FDJ will be able to deepen its relationship with its customers via Sportradar’s market-leading technology. In order to provide punters with a personalized experience, the content will be set according to their preferences.

Mostboeck added that by creating personalized content, punters will enjoy a far more meaningful relationship with FDJ that goes beyond just “sending a push notification with a generic message.”

ParionsSport’s head of product, offers and services, Hugo Le Pierres, stated that the sports betting brand is proud to present its customers with this new and unique service. He also added that ParionsSport is always working to “provide the best possible service” and it is a pleasure to work with Sportradar to be the first French operator to offer such content.

This partnership makes FDJ the first operator in France that is powered by Sportradar’s live channel product. Video content from Europe’s top soccer competitions will be featured. Yuval Benyamini, Head of Betting, WSC Sports also had this to add:

We’re delighted that WSC Sports’ technology is key to facilitating this new experience for FDJ players. Through near real-time highlights, players are now able not only to receive updates, but also see all the action that matters to them via push notifications. This marks the first-time betting players can enjoy sports highlights which have quickly become the fastest growing form of sports media consumption.

Sportradar Renewed Its Partnership With England and Wales Cricket Board

Sportradar is looking to further solidify its footprint in Europe. Aside from providing European operators with unique soccer content, it is also looking to please UK cricket fans as the company has recently renewed its partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The multi-year renewal results in more fan engaging applications for the recreational cricket community. Additionally, this partnership will include the well-known Play-Cricket Live app, Play-Cricket Scorer app and the Countdown Cricket app, which will be available until 2024. The Play-Cricket Live app has featured thousands of matches in both Wales and England since it was introduced in 2017.

This is not the first time where Sportradar is looking to boost the cricket experience and Sam Taylor, InteractSport’s managing director, stated that Sportradar remains committed to helping cricket grow at all levels.

He added that the ECB partnership renewal will result in a “closer connection” with recreational players and add a new dimension to their engagement. Moreover, Sportradar will continue to double down on its battle against match-fixing and corruption by launching the Sportradar Integrity Exchange.
