Social Media Personality Visits 26 Arizona Casinos in 48 Hours
Clue Heywood, a nickname for a mystery social media personality from Arizona, confirmed he was able to visit all 26 tribal casinos across the state in less than 48 hours
A social media personality believed to be based in Phoenix, Arizona, attempted and completed a challenge that had never been done before. The social media influencer with the pseudonym Clue Heywood, who currently has 54,500 followers on X, formerly Twitter, was able to complete a challenge that has never been attempted before: to visit all 26 Arizona tribal casinos in a span of only 48 hours.
The challenge, described by the influencer as “fun and stupid” dates back to last weekend. He along with his “co-pilot” described as a writer, were able to visit all 26 tribal casinos in the state for 47.5 hours, leaving 30 minutes to spare. Heywood’s challenge started on last week Friday and was completed early on Sunday morning.
Around Arizona, the social media influencer together with his writer sidekick drove a total of 1,637 miles and had only 5 hours of sleep for the duration of the challenge. But their goal wasn’t simply to visit each of the 26 tribal casinos in Arizona, they also had to place a bet before leaving. Heywood described the rules as simple, saying: “gotta place at least one bet at each casino, all food must be bought at casinos, any overnights are at casino hotels, no drinking and driving (obvs).”
An Exhausting but Fun Adventure
Throughout the trip across Arizona’s tribal casinos, Heywood posted regular updates, along with photos and a short description, keeping his followers up to speed with the progress. Describing the second stop within the big trip, Talking Stick Resort, Heywood deemed it as “probably the most “Vegas” in town because they have pool parties and DJs and people under 40 who go there.”
Staying true to their goal, the duo kept traveling and a message shared by the social media influencer on March 24, 2024, revealed that they had already visited 15 casinos after 16 hours and traveled approximately 650 miles. “This was a very dumb idea but we are going to complete it,” wrote Haywood at the time.
The last stop of the social media influencer and his writer co-pilot was the Desert Diamond West Valley. Early in the morning on February 25, 2024, Heywood confirmed that the challenge was finally completed with 30 minutes left to spare out of the 48 hours planned for the trip. “Having breakfast drinks and our first meal in two days. I have no idea what we accomplished here but it feels good,” reads a publication via X from Heywood.
Undoubtedly, this was an exhausting trip, considering the 1,600 miles the duo covered in less than 48 hours. Still, Heywood said that despite being exhausting, the adventure across the 26 tribal casinos in Arizona was also a lot of fun.
