SI Sportsbook Powered by Genius Sports’ Data-Driven Content

Leading sports data supplier Genius Sports announced today it entered into a major new partnership with Gibraltar-based 888 Holdings gambling group to mark another significant development on the US sports betting scene.

Another Major Sports Betting Partnership

The agreement between NYSE-traded Genius Sports and LSE-traded 888 Holdings will ensure 888’s SI Sportsbook gains access to Genius’ market-leading official data and trading capabilities. The announcement comes just a day after Genius Sports signed a multi-faceted deal with Caesars Entertainment, while 888 launched the SI Sportsbook in Colorado to mark the sportsbook’s first US jurisdiction of operation.

888 Holdings and Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Sports Illustrated brand since its acquisition in 2019, announced in June an exclusive partnership to develop Sports Illustrated online sports betting and gaming products in the US, including the launch of SI Sportsbook. “The launch of SI Sportsbook is a clear statement for the convergence of sports, betting and media in the U.S., and we’re excited to play a pivotal role in its entry into the market,” asserts Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke.

Official Sports Data and Data-Driven Content

Under the terms of the deal, Genius Sports, which provides sports betting operators with end-to-end value via official data and player acquisition tools, will power SI Sportsbook’s offering with pre-game and in-play content from its league partners, NBA, NCAA, NASCAR and NFL.

The deal positions the newly-launched in Colorado SI Sportsbook among the operators with access to Genius Sports’ exclusive NASCAR products, including in-race betting markets powered by official league data. SI Sportsbook will also feature official sports data from the NFL, including official sports betting data feed, real-time statistics and proprietary Next Gen Stats.

The new partnership expands on the current long-term relationship between Genius Sports and the online gambling brand operating out of Gibraltar by allowing it access to global sports data and official data-driven content Genius Sports distributes via partnerships with the English Premier League, LigaMX, DIMAYOR and AFA, as well as Euroleague Basketball.
