RSI and Bingo World Opened BetRivers Retail Sportsbook

Online casino and sports betting operator Rush Street Interactive (RSI) announced today the launch of BetRivers Sportsbook at Bingo World in Baltimore, Maryland, to mark the first outside of a casino retail sportsbook in the state.

In-Person Betting for Marylanders

Following the official launch of the BetRivers Sportsbook at Bingo World today, a wide array of bets on numerous sporting events in the US and around the world became available to everyone aged 21 and over. The retail sportsbook offers parlays, prop bets and in-game wagering, providing bettors with 12 self-service kiosks and three over-the-counter betting machines to place the bets.

Excited and honored to become the first venue in Maryland outside of a casino to operate as a retail sportsbook, Bingo World’s president Randy Clemens hailed the partnership with RSI that empowered Bingo World to offer a “world-class in-person sports betting experience at the BetRivers Sportsbook and lounge.”

As part of the celebration, Super Bowl champion Qadry “the Missile” Ismail, a local sports hero who was among the Baltimore Ravens team that won Super Bowl XXXV, while his 47-year reception in the game that won him his first Super Bowl ring continues to live in the minds of the Ravens fans, placed the first bet at the venue.

“The Missile” celebrated the BetRivers Sportsbook’s official opening together with Clemens, director of B2B Services at BetRivers Adam Glass, Maryland State Senator Mary Beidle and House of Delegates Member Nicholaus Kipke, Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman and Bingo World customer and community icon Myra Harris.

Hailing the new sportsbook as a “huge win for avid sports fans in Baltimore and beyond,” Ismail emphasized the growing role of sports betting in the world of sports while prompting fans of the Ravens and any other bettors to come and see firsthand the variety of betting options offered by BetRivers Sportsbook.

Modern-Design Retail Sportsbook

Across 3,000 square foot, the BetRivers Sportsbook at Bingo World features a lounge area where 32 theater-style seats and a bar with seating and high tops take care of the comfort of sports bettors and guests while 21 hi-def video screens spread around the place air multiple sporting events and BetRivers odds boards.

RSI’s chief executive officer Richard Schwartz also commented on the launch of the retail sportsbook, “thrilled to partner with Bingo World” and combine the brand’s recognition in the Baltimore area and its easily accessible venue with “RSI’s award-winning products and services” to deliver “exciting sports betting options” to sports fans and bettors in Maryland and continue to build a trustworthy and loyal rapport with them.

The BetRivers Sportsbook opening will add further gaming options to Baltimore’s go-to destination which has been steadily growing since its establishment as a bingo entertainment venue in 1987 to become a larger-scale gaming establishment that features now 200 Vegas-style gaming machines, a dedicated bingo section and a snack bar.

In June, RSI launched its BetRivers online sportsbook in West Virginia to expand its presence in the state where the brand already featured the BetRivers casino via a deal with Century Casinos’ Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort.
