Nashville SC vs. Inter Miami is probably the most exciting duel of the next round of the 2024 MLS. The game is on the program on Saturday, June 29, at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee
In the previous round of the 2024 MLS, Inter Miami defeated the defending MLS Cup champions 2:1 despite not having Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and a few other stars on the field. The Herons will miss those guys in the Nashville SC vs. Inter Miami game on June 29 as well. Will they be able to cope without them once more?

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee
- Date: Saturday, June 29, 2024

- How to Watch: ATV
Nashville’s Defense Has Been Great in 2024
Nashville is in the No. 8 position in the Eastern Conference, which isn’t great given that there are only 15 teams competing in this conference in 2024.
On the bright side, Nashville’s defense has been better than average. With just 23 goals conceded, this team has one of the best defenses in the MLS. In fact, there are only two teams in the league that have conceded fewer goals.
Nashville’s offense, however, hasn’t been too impressive in 2024. This team has scored only 23 goals, and 9 of those were the work of midfielders and defenders. When it comes to Nashville’s forwards, Sam Surridge has been the most impressive, scoring 7 goals so far.
Can Inter Miami Keep on Winning Without Messi on the Field
Lionel Messi is out with the Argentina National Team at the 2024 Copa America. The same goes for Luis Suarez who’s with Colombia. Knowing that these two players are Inter Miami’s two top scorers, it’s kind of surprising that the Herons managed to beat the reigning champions Columbus Crew 2:1 in the previous MLS round.
Wing-back Ian Fray had a game to remember, and so did striker Leonardo Campana. Robert Taylor also had a fine game on the left side of the field and so did Sergio Busquets in the center.
Inter Miami did win that game, but it’s Columbus’s players who had the ball in their possession for most of the game. In fact, they had the ball in their possession for 66% of the time. This time, it will probably be a different story as Nashville SC’s players prefer to be on the back foot.
Nashville SC vs. Inter Miami Prediction
We predict that Nashville SC will defend ferociously in this game, with their objective being to get a tie. Will they succeed? We think they might. If Mess and Suarez were around, the boys from Tennessee would stand no chance. This way, we think they can labor a draw.
