Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $120M as Friday Drawing Elected No Winner
The Friday Mega Millions drawing marked a temporary lull in the game as players did not succeed in matching enough winning numbers to collect either the jackpot or the game’s second-tier prize
Mega Millions has gone another drawing without a jackpot winner after no one won on Friday. However, the prize has now reached $120 million, making it even more tempting, as tonight’s drawing looms.
No Big Winners Last Friday
The Friday Mega Millions drawing marked a temporary lull in the game as players did not succeed in matching enough winning numbers to collect either the jackpot or the game’s second-tier prize.
The winning numbers drawn on April 10 were 3, 18, 36, 42, and 49, plus the gold Mega Ball 6. Matching all six of them would have resulted in an $110 million jackpot for a hypothetical lucky player or players. A hypothetical winner would have also been able to go for the lump sum option of $49.2 million.
In addition to no one winning the top prize, no one won the game’s Match 5 prize either. For context, matching five white numbers can net players a prize from $2 million to $10 million, depending on the multiplier.
A few players come rather close to matching all six numbers by correctly guessing four of the white ones and the gold Mega Ball. Two of those will take $20,000 each on a 2X multiplier, while three will take $30,000 each on a 3X multiplier.
The top prize has now reached $120 million with a cash option of $53.5 million for the next drawing, which is set to take place later today.
Two Mega Millions Jackpots Were Won in 2026
The first Mega Millions jackpot for 2026 was won in March when a player in Illinois won some $533 million. The jackpot had, at that point, been building up for months, resulting in a truly life-changing win.
Only two drawings later, another player succeeded in winning the second Mega Millions jackpot of 2026. That honor went to a player in Ohio who invoked the luck of the Irish to win $60 million from the game.
