Louisiana Man Hits $3.2M Progressive Jackpot on IGT Slot

A man from north Louisiana hit a life-changing jackpot at Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa in Greenville, Mississippi.

In the early hours of Tuesday, Keith Chamblin from Calhoun couldn’t sleep, so he decided to visit Harlow’s. 

According to a press release from the casino, that decision won him a massive $3,257,765.67 on the IGT Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold $1 slot machine.

Chamblin was already having a lucky streak before hitting the big one on the “often imitated, never equaled” game that keeps being “the most popular game” by minting more millionaires than any other competitive brand on the market. 

The press release mentioned the lucky man scored six handpays, which are smaller jackpots that require a casino payout, before finally landing the enormous progressive prize on the wide area network machine built by IGT.

“I had just won a jackpot on Saturday for my birthday in Shreveport, but this was much more,” Chamblin said. 

“As soon as I got into the high-limit room, everything just seemed to hit.”, the man who describes himself as a self-employed pool player and lead guitarist in a band added.

The 38-year-old is also a regular at Harlow’s. “Harlow’s is my favorite Casino,” he said.

The massive jackpot won’t be paid out all at once. Instead, Chamblin will receive roughly $168,000 annually over the next 20 years, following the payout structure attached to the game’s progressive prize, the release noted.

Despite the sudden windfall, Chamblin insisted he would stay grounded. “Money doesn’t change me at all,” he said. 

“I’ve had no job, no vehicle in the past. I know how it feels to not have money. I’m still gonna be the same person but it’s nice to have it.”, he went on.
