- Jamul Caino Resort sees a player turn a $5 bet into a $1,097,506 jackpot
The Jamul Casino Resort, which opened in 2016, has crowned another big-time winner at its property. While the casino kept details to a minimum, some have been shared with media outlets.
Guest Myrna D. was able to hit a $5 on STAX Super 4, hitting a Royal Flush Diamonds jackpot worth $1.09 million. The winning hand included a Queen and a Jack of Diamonds, along with an Ace and a King of Diamonds, for a Royal Flush.
Jackpots are not the only great things that happen on the property, with the casino being recognized in the 2026 USA Today Top Workplace rankings.
“This recognition is especially meaningful as it reflects the experience of our team members,” added Mary Cheeks, President and General Manager.
“Creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and inspired is incredibly important to us. When our team thrives, our community thrives alongside them,” Cheeks added.
The recent $5-to-million-plus jackpot is not the only time a player has walked away with a grand prize from the Jamul Casino Resorts, however. In mid-April, another player managed to flip a $3 bet into a $281,144 jackpot payout, playing the Frankenstein slot by Light & Wonder.
Speaking of, just recently, another player scooped a $1.4-milion jackpot on the same slot game playing at the Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Lone Butte.
