Jake Paul Confirms: Betr’s Online Casino Live in 30 States

Key Points
  • The YouTuber-turned-pugilist has recently taken to social media to tout the online casino success of the Betr brand in the United States

Betr, the online social casino, is now fully up and running in 30 states across the United States at a time when scrutiny of the sector is growing, becoming the brand’s latest addition.

However, its co-founder and main champion, Jake Paul, a YouTuber with a boxing streak, has been actively promoting the brand and recently confirmed the news in a social media post on X.

Betr has been fast-expanding as a brand and has already branched into several other options over time. The casino is the newest arrival to the portfolio, which already includes Betr Arcade, Betr Social Sportsbook, and Betr Picks

However, Betr may not be stopping there, and it is already eyeing a play from DraftKings’ books, with Jake Paul teasing the arrival of a super app that will unify the whole umbrella of products and also possibly feature prediction markets before long.

“We certainly have a first-mover on the super-app strategy. And through social casino, we’re still going to have an advantage with having a nationwide casino-like offering. Consumers nowadays don’t want to have to download five to seven different apps with different wallets. It’s just too much friction,” Jake Paul commented, attending the Next Summit: New York, with the media providing an update.

Both the social online casino and prediction markets are facing serious regulatory and logistical challenges. Minnesota is currently pushing for a ban on social casinos, specifically targeting the sweepstakes model.

Indiana has also recently signed a bill into law that effectively bans the sweepstakes model. Prediction markets are similarly facing a pushback, with a recent decision in Nevada leading to the temporary suspension of Kalshi products in the Silver State.

While officials seem inclined to support the prediction market vertical, private trade groups, such as Gambling Is Not Investing, and legislative efforts, such as the Bets Off Act, put the spotlight on mounting opposition against the sector.

This is not the only piece of legislation to move against the sector.
