He added that this deal is yet another milestone for the IGT PlaySports team. The company keeps its momentum by expanding in the US, with this strategic move to Washington with Snoqualmie Casino.

IGT Expands in the US Market

IGT PlaySports continues to expand on the US market. The company is setting a firm foothold on US soil and relieving some of its debt burdens through international sales. This year, IGT sold its gaming assets in Italy to Apollo Global, allowing it to relieve some of its debt, amounting to around $7 billion. Apollo owned other assets in the country that previously belonged to IGT, and with this sale, it owns its lottery operations. The sale was valued at $1.15 billion.

The company recently announces its expanding footprint in North Dakota, signing an agreement for its IGT PlaySports platform to enhance its sports betting solutions offering at the Dakota Magic Casino and Hotel in Hankinson, ND.

At the beginning of June, Rhode Island legislators also approved a deal allowing IGT and Bally’s Corp to keep their gaming positions in the state, meaning that IGT continues to be the state’s exclusive lottery technology provider.

With its new agreement in Snoqualmie, IGT will be the closest sportsbook operator to the Seahawks’ and Mariners’ stadiums. The casino would complement the famous Seahawks Pit and the immersive Seahawks-branded table game. The company would further engage with more of its sports fans in Snoqualmie.
