Former Bwin Executive Steven Cartigny Branches Out into Consulting
Invixos, Cartigny’s new company, offers comprehensive services in sports sponsorships, marketing, media partnerships and management
Steven Cartigny, former head of commercial at bwin, has announced the launch of his consultancy firm, Invixos, after more than seven years with the operator’s parent company, Entain. Cartigny’s decade of experience in the online iGaming industry and history of success should give the company a substantial headstart, allowing it to tap into gambling’s rapid worldwide expansion.
The Consultancy Firm Will Adopt a Diverse Approach
Invixos will have three primary arms, leveraging promising verticals by providing top-tier consultancy services. The company’s Sports and Media Marketing division aims to provide sports and media marketing services in the Middle East, leveraging Cartigny’s industry knowledge and experience to navigate and tap into the region’s untapped market potential.
The iGaming Services division will offer consultation services to clients in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. This segment reflects the global nature of the iGaming industry and Invixos’ commitment to providing tailored solutions across different regions. Cartigny’s business will likely target burgeoning jurisdictions, enabling local operators to excel at home and abroad.
Invixos will also be involved in talent representation, aligning with Cartigny’s understanding of the importance of high-profile celebrities in the sports and media industry. This segment will primarily work with athletes, influencers, and other key figures in the sector. Recent research revealed that endorsements by leading talent could significantly influence consumers, motivating Invixos’s interest in this field.
Cartigny’s Vast Expertise Should Prove Invaluable
The decision to establish Invixos comes after Cartigny departed from bwin in July 2023. His experience spans various roles within the industry, including a position as senior VIP account manager at Kindred Group for over three years before joining the Entain-owned company in 2016. Cartigny’s tenure at bwin saw significant achievements, including a fivefold increase in the company’s revenue in Belgium.
The Invixos CEO’s experience and success in the industry position him to offer valuable insights and expertise through his new company. Cartigny noted that his achievements could not have been possible without the support of his colleagues, thanking the bwin team for their support and pledging to retain his focus on operational excellence.
Each interaction… has played a significant role in shaping my career, and I am confident that each person reading this can assess the impact they have had on my professional journey.
Steven Cartigny, Invixos CEO
Invixos’ launch represents a new chapter for Cartigny and adds another player to the dynamic landscape of sports and media consulting. As CEO, Cartigny looks forward to contributing to the growth and success of clients in the sports, media, and iGaming sectors on a global scale, combining his industry experiences to create new and exciting prospects for partners.
