Edmonton Oilers vs. Florida Panthers Game 7 will decide the winner of the 2024 Stanley Cup. The game is played on Monday, June 24, at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida

The Edmonton Oilers are the first team since 1945 to force a Game 7 after going down 3-0 in the Stanley Cup Final. Confidence is on their side, especially given that they practically blew the Florida Panthers out in each of the last three games. However, the final game of the series will be played on the Panthers’ turf, Amerant Bank Arena, which is where they’ll have their fans to support them.

Edmonton Oilers are Buzzing Ahead of Game 7
The Oilers are just one win away from producing one of the biggest comebacks in the history of the National Hockey League. After going 3-0 down in the Finals, they managed to bounce back and make it even.
The most impressive thing is that in the three games that they won, the boys from Alberta were nothing short of brilliant. Their first win of the 2024 Finals was an 8:1 blowout, which saw seven of their players score a goal.

Another brilliant team effort followed soon. They made it 3-2 in the series with a 5:3 win, in which four players got on the scoresheet. Then, in the previous game, we saw them grab another big win. This time, it was 5:1 with goals by five different players.
Every player on the Edmonton roster has been sensational in the last three games, which is great news for the team that used to rely heavily on its biggest star Connor McDavid. Sure, this guy remains their best player, but the Oilers are no longer a one-man army.
The Florida Panthers Need to Pull Themselves Together
Everything was going great for the Florida Panthers at the start of the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals. They went 3-0 up without any major problems, but then, the Oilers decided to switch up a gear.
They humiliated the Panthers in the last three games, showing that Florida’s defense is no match for them. The Panthers conceded a total of 18 goals in the last three games, which accounts for 6 points per game.
That’s really surprising given that they had the best defense of all the teams in the Eastern Conference in the regular season. In the 82 games of the 2023-24 regular season, they conceded just 200 goals. That’s 2.43 goals per game on average.
Edmonton Oilers vs. Florida Panthers Game 7 Prediction
The Edmonton Oilers look unstoppable after blowing out the Florida Panthers in the last three games. The Panthers are knocked down, so if they managed to win the Stanley Cup – which would be the first in the history of the franchise – it would be a superb effort.
Still, a much more impressive feat would be the Oilers winning the Finals by coming back from being 3-0 down. Based on what we saw from them in those games, it’s very likely that they’re going to pull it off.
Pick: Edmonton Oilers
