DraftKings Rolls Out Retail Betting at Wrigley Field
Thanks to the launch, visitors of the retail betting outlet can enjoy supreme experiences
Currently, DraftKings is a leading betting and gaming operator with a strong presence across the United States. Besides offering mobile betting in many states, the company has a presence via retail betting outlets as well, promising exceptional viewing and betting experiences. Only recently, DraftKings opened the doors of its latest retail sportsbook located at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs.
The new retail betting outlet is located adjacent to the historic Wrigley Field and offers a wide range of amenities, including 2,000 square foot HD LED display. Besides exceptional viewing experiences, bettors and sports fans alike will be able to enjoy the venue’s 4-Zone Directional Sound. DraftKings’ betting outlet offers more than 300 seats.
Not unexpectedly, the betting location offers private booths and rooms for parties ranging between six and 50 viewers. To ensure fast services, the new retail sports betting location has seven betting windows. In addition, DraftKings sportsbook next to Wrigley Field offers 32 betting kiosks. Similar to other locations where the operator has a presence, bettors and sports fans alike can expect a wide range of betting options, including in-game and same-game parlay bets.
The Opening of the New Retail Outlet Marks an Exciting Moment
Celebrating the opening of DraftKings’ new sports betting outlet, Kyle Long, the former Chicago Bears professional player, put down a $100 wager. The player’s bet was on the Chicago Cubs to win the World Series.
Michael Kibort, DraftKings’ VP of product operations, shared his excitement about the introduction of sports betting at the new venue. He revealed that the location adjacent to Wrigley Field opened last summer as a bar and a restaurant, adding that it is exciting to now see options for wagering.
“The reception has been great since opening the DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field last summer as a state-of-the-art restaurant and bar and we are excited to take our flagship venue to the next level with retail sports betting operations.“
Michael Kibort, VP of product operations at DraftKings
Kibort acknowledged that the opening of DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field became a reality thanks to close collaboration with the Illinois Gaming Board, Levy, the leading food and beverage supplier for the sportsbook, as well as the Chicago Cubs. “Together, we’re able to deliver customers a safe and regulated way to get in on the action while enjoying an incredible space to watch live sports,” he explained in conclusion.
Recently, DraftKings announced the launch of My Stat Sheet, an innovative tool that promotes responsible gambling. The launch was confirmed last week with the company revealing that the tool grants the customers access to customized gaming and insights. Ultimately, My Stat Sheet seeks to help consumers track their gambling activities and make informed decisions.
