Dana White Admits to Winning $26M-$27M at Caesars Palace

The winning streak at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas happened between January and March this year, the UFC boss revealed during a recent podcast

Dana White, the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) CEO, spoke about the risks associated with gambling, winning big and his experience in one of the most recognizable casino resorts in Las Vegas. The exec recently participated in an episode of the Full Send Podcast, telling interesting stories about his high-stakes bets at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip.

At some point in the conversation, White was asked about his gambling to which he responded: “I have a very high f**king tolerance for risk. You gotta have to… have a high tolerance for risk. And you have to have a certain mindset.”

$1 Million in Winnings per Night

White is a recognizable high-roller and a frequent visitor at Caesars Palace. During the recent podcast, he admitted to winning roughly $1 million per night by playing baccarat at the popular Las Vegas Strip resort.

Giving an estimate of his winnings, White said that between January and March, he won between $26-$27 million at the famous casino resort. According to White, he is able to place $350,000 a hand at Caesars Palace and $400,000 at Bellagio. He deemed the high-stakes bets as “f**king big boy play.”

$8 Million Was White’s Biggest Loss in One Night

People affected by problem gambling or at-risk gambling may try to win back the money they lost. This is a common mistake many gamblers make and it is often referred to as chasing losses. As it turns out, knowing your limit for the night is something important and White confirmed this during his latest appearance in the podcast.

When it comes to losses, White acknowledged that in gambling, there are nights you can get “murdered.” Asked about his biggest losing streak, the CEO admitted to losing a whopping $8 million in one night.

White’s Goal: $1 Million a Hand

UFC’s boss was asked how long he usually plays per visit at Caesars Palace. He responded: “I win three hands in a row. We’re leaving.” Although White said that sometimes the play can be a win, loss, win, he admitted that once he wins between $800,000 to $1 million, he leaves.

White shared further details about his baccarat play at Caesars revealing that he starts the play at a fresh board when all the cards are shuffled. “They put the cards in. It’s a 50/50 shot,” White added while admitting that on some occasions a tie is possible. He then said he always places the first bet on the banker.

Speaking about high-roller customers, White estimated that Caesars has more than two dozen players like him and some, who even spend more than him. Asked if he has placed $1 million per hand, White said that this is one of his goals. “That’s my goal, that’s my goal in life before I die… $1 million per hand.”

The exec added that he wants $30 million in credit with $1 million a hand. Asked if any casino around the world would agree to that offer, White said: “No.” He revealed that so far, no casino has agreed to such an offer.
