Brazil vs. USA 2024 Olympics Odds, Time, and Prediction
Brazil vs. USA is a quarterfinal match of the 2024 Olympic Basketball tournament. The game is played on Tuesday, August 6, at Accor Arena in Paris
At some online sportsbooks, it’s not even possible to bet on Team US moneyline, while others are giving extremely short odds on the American “dream team” somewhere in the ballpark of -10000. Oddsmakers are certain the United States will win this game, with the real big question being by how many points. That’s what we’ll try to answer in our Brazil vs. USA basketball preview.
Brazil vs. Team USA Olympics Odds

Team US -27 | -110 |

When, Where, and How to Watch?

- How to Watch: NBC/USA Network
Brazil Hoping for a Dignified Loss
Brazil finished third in the group with one win and two losses. These guys lost to Germany and France, but defeated Japan 102:84. Thanks to that win, they booked themselves a spot in the quarterfinal as one of the best-ranked third-place teams.
They advanced to the knockouts, but they almost certainly won’t go too far. In fact, the Brazil vs. Team US odds suggest there’s no way they can get to the semis. They’re going to lose this match, but will they get embarrassed by the Americans?
They might, especially given that their offense hasn’t been great. Against France, they scored just 66 points, while against Germany, we saw them score 73. Their defense has been kind of okay, but no defense looks good enough to stop Team US.
Team US Ready for Another Historic Performance
The United States men’s basketball team looks incredible. In fact, many believe that the 2024 Olympic Games roster is the best US roster in history. If you split this team in two, both teams could easily reach the gold medal match.
This team is packed with superstars and all of them seem to be in top shape. What’s interesting is that in each of the three games they played in the group stage of the Olympics, the Americans had a different top scorer.
In the 110:84 win over Serbia, it was Kevin Durant. Bam Adebayo was Team US’s best scorer in the 103:86 win over South Sudan. In their last game of the group phase, the Americans beat Puerto Rico 104:83 with Anthony Edwards scoring the most points.
Brazil vs. USA Prediction
Team US is going to steamroll Brazil on Tuesday afternoon. The Americans scored 100+ points in each of their games at the 2024 Olympics and we’re certain the same will happen again. Plus, given that Brazil hasn’t been great offensively, we suspect Team US will have no problems covering the 27-point spread.
Pick: USA -27
