Arizona Cardinals Continue Rebuilding

The Arizona Cardinals finished with a 4-13 record last season, which was one of the worst records in this franchise’s history. This season, they just need to do better. But how much better? Well, if you take a look at their 2024 roster, it looks pretty good.

Kyler Murray has committed to Arizona and will remain their starting QB. With him running things, the Cards are expected to do well, especially now that Murray has way more fantastic options to pass the ball to.

What we’re talking about is the addition of Marvin Harrison Jr. who was their first-round draft pick (4th overall). The Ohio State product has a bright future ahead of him, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he started putting on brilliant performances straight away.

Buffalo Bills Hoping to Take That Big Leap Forward

The Buffalo Bills finished first in the AFC East in each of the last four seasons. Last season, they went 11-6 in the regular season, after which they won the Wild Card Playoffs, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 31:17. However in the Divisional Playoffs, they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 27:24.

Can they do better this time around? They sure hope so, but their roster doesn’t look as great as it was last year. It’s mainly because Stefon Diggs, who was their crucial receiver last season, is now playing for the Houston Texans.

However, their quarterback Josh Allen is still on the roster, and he’ll have some pretty decent players to help him push the Bills forward. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is expected to fill in the gap left by Diggs. Or maybe it’s going to be Curtis Samuel? Or maybe Khalil Shakir? Whoever steps up, the Bills should be fine.

They should also have a good ground game, with James Cook expected to take his rushing to the next level in 2024.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Buffalo Bills Predictions

The Cardinals aren’t as bad as they were last season. The Bills aren’t as good as they were in 2023. However, this doesn’t mean that we’re going to see the Cards beat the Bills. We think that the boys from Buffalo will triumph in Week 1, probably covering the 6.5-point spread along the way.

Pick: Buffalo Bills -6.5
