Station Casinos Reveals Data Breach Took Place in March 2026

Station Casinos LLC has become the latest high-profile casino and hospitality company to have been targeted and successfully breached by hackers. The incident occurred in March 2026, but the company only disclosed it recently.

Station Casinos Latest to Be Targeted By Skilled Hackers 

Specifically, Station Casinos LLC disclosed events of the incident to the Maine Attorney General on May 21, 2026, with the company looking to notify the people affected by the breach. 

However, the exact number of people affected by the breach remains unknown, with the company becoming aware of the security infiltration on March 5, 2026. Station Casinos LLC believes that the breach only exposed the names of its customers.

In some limited cases, there is the possibility that the hackers were also able to obtain information such as financial account numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, card information, and SSNs. 

Attacks against companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, have not been isolated, with hackers going after gaming companies internationally. The company has already confirmed to the media that it has indeed experienced “unauthorized access” to its systems.

“Upon detecting the incident, the company promptly took steps to respond to the incident with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts and in cooperation with law enforcement,” a spokesperson told publication Cybernews. 

Station Casinos LLC is the driving force behind multiple well-established land-based gaming and hospitality properties, among which are Red Rock Casino Resort Spa, Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa Casino, Palace Station Hotel & Casino, Boulder Station, Sunset Station, and Durango Casino & Resort. 

Station Casinos LLC is hardly the only company to have been targeted in such a major move, with previous cyber incidents involving the likes of DraftKings, MGM Resorts, and more.
