The upcoming venue will mark a significant development for the UAE’s tourism sector, creating new opportunities for the nation and bolstering Wynn’s regional presence

Leading casino operator Wynn Resorts has unveiled new images of its highly anticipated luxury resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island, currently under construction in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Set to be the company’s first beachfront resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island is poised to become a landmark destination in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.

The Development Team Will Spare No Expense

Construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island commenced in early 2023 under the guidance of UAE-based main contractor ALEC Engineering and Contracting. Still under construction, the structure stands approximately 40 meters tall, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2025. The resort should open to the public in early 2027, attracting visitors from the UAE and neighboring countries.

Partnering with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, Wynn Resorts is spearheading the development of this spectacular project on an expansive island spanning nearly 62 hectares into the Arabian Gulf. With its breathtaking location and world-class amenities, Wynn Al Marjan Island aims to redefine luxury hospitality in the region and create a lasting legacy.

Led by Wynn Design and Development, the project boasts a team of over 90 talented architects, designers, and visionaries who will carefully craft every aspect of the resort’s design and development. Renowned for its expertise in creating iconic gaming venues, the company has left a lasting mark on the global hospitality landscape.

Guests Will Enjoy a World-Class Experience

Wynn Al Marjan Island will offer guests an impressive selection of luxury experiences, including 1,542 rooms and suites, 22 exclusive Villa Estates overlooking a newly designed marina, and an expansive poolscape nestled beside a pristine white sand beach. The resort’s dining offerings will showcase a curated selection of 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, each exquisitely designed to provide stunning views.

Todd Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design and Development, shared insights into the inspiration behind the resort’s design. Drawing from Ras Al Khaimah’s rich history as a pivotal trading hub in the Arabian Gulf, the resort’s 300-meter-tall tower aims to become a modern-day landmark for global travelers.
