SG Rolls out iGaming and Sports Products in FireKeepers Casino Hotel

FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Michigan welcomes more tailored iGaming and sports betting content by Scientific Games as part of a new partnership.

FireKeepers Casino Hotel Elevates Content Offer with Scientific Games 

Scientific Games Corporation has teamed with FireKeepers Casino Hotel to launch its range of online casino and digital sports betting products in Michigan. As such, the supplier is rolling out its portfolio on one of the biggest tribal gaming operators in the United States.

FireKeepers Casino’s gaming property offers many opportunities for gaming, with 2,900 slots, 70 table games, and other amenities, along with a retail sportsbook that launched in 2020. The property is also expanding its facilities with the opening of the second hotel tower as well as a new high-limit slot and table area. 

Scientific Games will launch a series of player-favorite games that have been established across iGaming in the US, including 88 Fortunes and Let It Ride. SG is already present in the Great Lakes State as it previously signed a similar partnership with FanDuel for the company’s OpenSports platform. 

Just this week, Scientific Games teamed up with Playtech and forged a new alliance to boost its content distributions capabilities and explore new market opportunities. The OpenSports solution is also coming to FireKeepers dedicated sportsbook, giving another boost to the already strong offer.

OpenGaming and OpenSports’ Proven Track Record 

Commenting on these developments, FireKeepers Casino Hotel CEO Kathy George praised the strength and technological offer that SG brings to the table, adding: “We are pleased to partner with Scientific Games and bring their scalable platforms and content to our players, who are always the focus of our major initiatives. We want to bring them a variety of entertainment opportunities, and utilizing Scientific Games’ OpenGaming, and OpenSports platforms will do just that.”

The partnership was welcomed by Scientific Games SVP and general manager US Cathryn Lai who said that FireKeepers’ leadership position as a casino in the Midwest and Michigan is well-established. According to Lai, the addition of digital products in both sports betting and iGaming would prove a successful way to elevate FireKeepers’ content offering.
