Las Vegas police have made a second arrest tied to the investigation into a November 2025 explosion outside Piero’s Italian Cuisine, a well-known restaurant just off the Strip. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reportedly detained 52-year-old R.S. this week. He is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center and faces multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit arson, first-degree arson, and using an explosive device to damage property.

The Motives Behind the Attack Remain Unknown

The arrest marks the latest development in a case that began before dawn on November 13, 2025. Officers arrived on the scene after reports of an explosion at the restaurant, located along Convention Center Drive. The investigators found that someone had placed a device outside the front entrance. The suspicious object burst into flames and later exploded.

Surveillance footage and witness accounts helped authorities build a timeline. According to police reports, two men approached the location during the early morning hours, one of them arriving on a scooter. The pair appeared to place the device before quickly departing. While the blast caused visible damage to the building’s exterior, nobody was harmed.

A first suspect, 35-year-old J.N., was taken into custody days after the incident. He faces multiple charges that include possession and manufacture of an explosive device, along with arson-related offenses. That episode likely stemmed from a dispute with Glusman’s father over a loan issue and is unrelated to the explosion.
