Relax Gaming Names Kirsten O’Neill as Second-Ever CFO
The new appointee is set to replace longstanding CFO Markus Kruk, who has held the position for nine years
Relax Gaming, a leading iGaming aggregator and content supplier, announced that it has named the experienced Kirsten O’Neill as its new chief financial officer. Having joined the company in 2021, the appointee will now assume responsibility for the company’s finances.
O’Neill originally served as group finance manager, leveraging her experience to sort out financial matters for the iGaming content powerhouse. No stranger to gambling, she boasts years of experience in the sector and has previously worked for other noteworthy companies, such as NetEnt and Yggdrasil Gaming.
According to Relax Gaming, this promotion underscores its commitment to “nurturing top talent and promoting from within.” On that note, the company pointed to the recent appointment of Martin Stålros as its new chief executive officer.
Stålros, who has spent over a decade with Relax, replaced Simon Hammon, who had served as CEO since 2022.
As for O’Neill, the new appointee is set to replace longstanding CFO Markus Kruk, who has held the position for nine years. Kruk, meanwhile, will become the company’s next chief corporate development officer and focus on “exploring new product verticals and strategic partnerships,” in line with Relax’s growth strategy.
O’Neill Is Proud to Become Relax Gaming’s CFO
Kirsten O’Neill commented on her new appointment, saying that she could not be prouder to become Relax Gaming’s new chief financial officer. She called the firm a “special company” that has played a huge role in her personal development.
I am truly excited to continue all of the great work that Markus has achieved ensuring that we are sustainable as a business and I look forward to what lies ahead.
