PSG Strikes Deal with Crypto LatAm Bookie Playbetr

Crypto LatAm bookie Playbetr is teaming up with PSG in a move that will benefit both companies’ standing with fans in the region.

PSG to Help Playbetr Attract More Customers and Sports Fans

Latin America has proven a tempting market for sports franchises and sportsbooks in equal measure. Playbetr, a local crypto gambling brand, is boosting its footprint in the region through a partnership with French soccer powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The three-year partnership will lead to branding and marketing rights for Playbetr and help build up its reputation leveraging PSG’s profile with soccer fans. Playbetr will further be able to promote its branding through PSG’s dedicated platforms, including special offers for individual games as well as better odds for fans and customers of the sportsbook to consider when placing their next wager.

Playbetr will also benefit from tailored branding at Parc de Princes, the club’s home stadium, with targeted advertisement running on the LED screens and allowing the brand to resonate with fans in Latin America.

Playbetr CMO Marvin Jones said the company was happy to be tying a strategic alliance with what is one of the biggest names in the soccer world. PSG is also the new home of Lionel Messi, who just let his former soccer club, Barcelona FC, over money issues at the organization.

“In football, like in betting, performance is primordial. Paris Saint-Germain has built a solid reputation of excellence both on and off the field, and we look forward to extending the brand’s influence even further across the globe,” Jones added.

Boosting Fan Experience for PSG Fans

PSG will ensure that Playbetr customers benefit from additional perks such as VIP seats at the home stadium, various activations involving club events, and meeting with their favorite players. PSG is boldly venturing into sports betting after already signing a partnership with Betway for its esports division, PSG.LGD

PSG CPO Marc Armstrong said that the team was happy to add Playbetr as the club’s officially recognized betting partner in Latin America. Paris Saint-Germain remains confident that the tie-up with Playbetr will help push the club’s visibility and guarantee better overall engagement with fans in Latin America.

In March, PSG.LGD struck another deal with Fonbet, effectively boosting both companies’ profiles in Russia, which is Fonbet’s domestic market. PSG is reaching out to new sports betting markets in the hopes of positioning its name and finding new channels to engage with fans.
