Prettyman Named SVP of Property Operations for Live! Casino Louisiana

Cordish Gaming Group has promoted from within, designating the experienced Bryan Prettyman as senior vice president of property operations for its Live! Casino and Hotel in Louisiana. Set to open its doors in Q1 2025, the casino resort is Cordish’s newest property.

Prettyman is an experienced gambling industry employee, whose track record includes senior positions at properties across multiple states, including California, Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

Prettyman previously served as senior marketing leader for Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, OK, turning the property into a leading casino resort. He also spent three years as a director at Treasure Island Resort & Casino, MN, and four years as VP at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, MN.

As a member of Live! Casino’s team, he served as vice president of slots and marketing at Live! Casino Pittsburgh, PA.

In his new position, Prettyman will be responsible for the operations of Cordish’s newest $270 million property in Bossier City. His responsibilities will mostly cover the property’s non-gambling operations and will include developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives to quickly cement Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana as a leading casino resort in the area.

GM Chaszar Welcomes Prettyman as SVP of Property Operations

Prettyman was congratulated on his promotion by John Chaszar, executive vice president and general manager at Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana. Chaszar said that the property is excited to assemble a leadership team that is full of professionals and expressed optimism about the launch of the property.

Prettyman, according to the GM, has the exact skill set Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana needs.

Bryan’s extensive expertise will bolster the national Live! Casino brand and cement Live! Louisiana as an unmatched gaming and entertainment destination in the region.

The property, for context, is set to have a whopping 47,000 square feet of gaming space. Set to sport some 1,000 slots, 40 gaming tables and a sportsbook, the property is poised to capitalize on the demand for gambling in Louisiana and bolster tourism.

Ahead of its launch, the casino is busy assembling a reliable team of professionals. A few days ago, Cordish Gaming Group also named Jamie Williams, a hospitality and gaming veteran with extensive experience, as director of sales at the new casino.
