NBA Legends Charles Barkley Becomes FanDuel’s Ambassador

Fantasy and sports betting operator FanDuel Group and Charles Barkley have signed an exclusive deal as the basketball legend will officially take the role of the company’s ambassador.

FanDuel Group has struck an exclusive deal with Charles Barkley, making him the company’s official ambassador and spokesperson. The NBA legend will be on FanDuel Group’s social media channels, sharing his special content and he will also appear as a guest on TV programs and the operator’s affiliate podcasts.

When commenting on the collaboration, Barkley expressed how grateful he is to be the new ambassador for FanDuel. He also shared that he and “The Inside the NBA” crew enjoyed working with FanDuel during the playoffs last season. Charles also stated that FanDuel helped the show become more understandable and give consumers reasons to continue watching the game no matter the predicted outcome is,

Barkley co-hosted “Inside the NBA” and gave a lot of valuable sports betting input. The basketball legend will also take on FanDuel’s advertising and free to play contests.

In October this year, FanDuel formed a long-term partnership with Turner Sports’ NBA programming. Of course, Barkley will do Turner Sports’ promotions. The collaboration between FanDuel and Turner Sports will give FanDuel access to NBA content such as TNT live telecasts and Bleacher Report digital channels. The latter is a great spot for the new generation fans. Minute Media, The Ringer, Entercom, and SportsGrid also signed exclusive contracts with FanDuel.
