Michigan Authorities Seize Illegal Gaming Machines and Gift Cards Worth $182,430

Michigan state investigators executed two search warrants leading to the seizure of illegal gaming equipment and gift cards. The raids took place on 18 October and resulted in authorities confiscating six slot-type gaming machines, 11 computers, $6,306 in suspected gambling proceeds, and $182,430 worth of Simon Giftcards.

Authorities Collaborated to Ensure Decisive Action

The operation was carried out by special agents from the Department of Attorney General, with assistance from the Bridgeport Township Police Department, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Liquor Control Commission. The two search warrants targeted PlayStation Bar and Grill in Bridgeport Township and a residence associated with one of the venue’s owners, a known supplier of Nudgemaster machines.

These search warrants have not yet resulted in any arrests, but analyzing the seized equipment could lead to further legal action. An MGCB investigation revealed some slot machines tagged with “Property of Universal Video” stickers, justifying the two search warrants.
