MCW Became Barbados Royals’ Sponsor for 2022 CPL Season

Online gambling website Mega Casino World (MCW) became a sponsor of Barbados Royals, the representative franchise cricket team of Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), for the upcoming season of the league.

Brand Visibility

As sponsors of Barbados Royals for the season starting in August this year, MCW will have its branding placed on the front of players’ jerseys and will gain visibility around the stadium where the Royals play their home games, Kensington Oval.

The cricket team of Barbados Royals is part of Royals Sports Group, together with another cricket franchise competing in the Indian Premier League, the Rajastan Royals, and Fuk outlined the opportunity presented by the sponsorship.

Expanding Customer Base

“With the Royals Sports Group on board, we feel we have access to a global fanbase that can help us propel our offerings and create a more global imprint,” he concluded.

The new sponsorship will provide MCW with opportunities to offer its customers exclusive content related to the two-time champions of the CPL, as well as reward them with VIP experiences.

Beginning on August 30, this year’s CPL season will give Barbados Royals a chance to erase the bad memories from the last season when the franchise finished last. Barbados Royals were twice CPL champions, in the 2014 and 2019 seasons. CPL launched in 2013.

Outlast Sports, a Dubai-based media outlet facilitated the sponsorship deal between the Royals and MCW.
