UFC Vegas 104 Odds Favor Marvin Vettori

The betting favorite in the UFC Vegas 104 main event is Marvin Vettori (19-7-1) who’s priced at -131. This doesn’t make him a huge favorite, but the oddsmakers obviously think he’s more likely to win than his opponent.

The main reason is that he’s already done it once. Two years ago, we saw him out-strike Dolidze and win by unanimous decision.

Since then, he’s fought just once. It also happened in 2023 – Jared Cannonier beat him by unanimous decision after five rounds of intense fighting.

The Italian hasn’t fought since, so he might have some ring rust. On the other hand, he’s probably hungry for fighting, so expect him to go all-in on March 15.

Roman Dolidze Looking for Revenge

With a record of 14-3, Roman Dolidze is a fine fighter who’s yet to lose inside the distance. This is surprising given that he’s fought against some real tough guys.

In addition to Vettori, he’s also locked horns with Nassourdine Imavov, Anthony Smith, Kevin Holland, Jack Hermansson, and many others.

The Georgian is a well-rounded fighter whose most lethal weapon is striking. He lands 3.16 significant strikes a minute but also gets hit a lot – 3.38 times per 60 seconds.

His chin is incredibly strong, and he’s got an amazing gas tank, but getting hit so many times could be a huge problem. We’re certain he’s aware of this, which is why we expect him to take a more defensive approach come March 15.

Marvin Vettori vs. Roman Dolidze Prediction

They’re both brawlers by nature, but this time, we think Dolidze will take a more tactical approach. Rather than throwing everything he’s got at Vettori, he’s going to try and keep him in a clinch or even take the fight to the ground.

Our prediction is that it’s not going to be the most exciting fight – certainly less exciting than their first duel. We think it’s going to last for the full 25 minutes, after which the judges will score in Dolidze’s favor.

Pick: Roman Dolidze by Decision
