The ticket matched all five numbers at odds of 1 in 962,598, bringing him the hefty payout, which will take a further hit after all due federal and state taxes are applied. Allison has opted for a flat payout of $367,448.

Cash 5 is one of many lottery games hosted in California, and it has proven to be one of the most cost-efficient games out there, while keeping the jackpots pretty high. The Tuesday jackpot for the game was $182,000.
