Kambi Inks Deal with Tribal Operator Ilani, Enters Washington State
The leading B2B sports betting platform provider of premium sports betting technology, Kambi Group Plc, announced its entry into Washington State via a newly signed sportsbook agreement.
Kambi Signs Sports Betting Agreement with Ilani
The company said Wednesday it joined forces with a tribal operator called Ilani. The operator was developed by the Cowlitz Tribe in collaboration with Salishan-Mohegan, which is a collaboration that also includes the leading gaming and entertainment developer and operator Mohegan Sun. The terms of the new deal see Ilani leverage Kambi-powered on-site sportsbook at a casino located in Washington State. The recent collaboration sees Kambi’s leading sportsbook platform enter one of the largest casino properties in the state that offers 100,000 square feet of gaming space. Thanks to the new deal, Ilani will benefit from the B2B developer’s leading sports betting services and award-wining technology.
“At Ilani, we are excited to offer sports wagering as a new amenity to meet the varied interests of our valued guests.“
Kara Fox-LaRose, president and general manager of Ilani
Kara Fox-LaRose, Ilani’s president and general manager, revealed that the operator is excited to add sports betting to its list of amenities available for visitors of the venue. By adding sports betting, the venue introduced a new form of dining entertainment via its brand new Stadium Sports Bar & Grill outlet, she explained. According to Fox-LaRose, visitors of the venue can expect memorable experiences by watching sports on the largest video wall in the region.
The Collaboration Will Bring Exciting Experiences for Sports Fans
Mohegan’s CEO and president, Ray Pineault, added that the company expected the arrival of sports betting to Washington for a long time. He pointed out that the Mohegan is excited to see Kambi offer its leading technology and sportsbook to Ilani. Pineault said that that company is looking forward to seeing Ilani leverage Kambi’s leading technology which in turn will help the venue become a go-to location for sports fans in the region.
“The expertise that Kambi is lending to ilani will allow them to continue capitalizing on a number of compelling watching and wagering opportunities within the ilani property.“
Ray Pineault, president and CEO at Mohegan
Kristian Nylén, Kambi’s CEO and co-founder, added that the company is proud to join forces with Ilani. He explained that the recent collaboration strengthens the company’s strong relationship with Tribal Gaming operators. Nylén pointed out that at the same time, the new deal expands Kambi’s presence, marking its entry into the 19th US state. Last but not least, Kambi’s CEO and co-founder said that the company is looking forward to delivering exciting experiences to sports bettors in Washington State.
