Kambi Group Secures Go-Ahead from Nevada Gaming Commission

The acclaimed and premium sports betting solutions company has received an official license to deliver its products in the Silver State

Kambi Group has another milestone to celebrate after the company confirmed that it has received approval for its Nevada gaming license applications from the Nevada Gaming Commission.

Kambi Group Gets Approval to Bring World-Beating Solutions to Nevada

With this decision, the company is entering one of the world’s most iconic and lucrative markets, allowing Kambi to focus on delivering its world-class products to a wide audience of sports fans.

Kambi, which similarly delivers solutions for sports and esports betting companies, has obtained the Manufacturer & Distributor Licenses as well as an Information Services License, and the regulator’s decision is a nod to the previous recommendation issued by the Nevada Gaming Control Board issued earlier in January.

The focus is squarely on the company’s sportsbook technology and services that will be offered to local properties in Las Vegas as well as across the state.

Although the state already has a strong variety of technology providers, Kambi feels strongly that it can make its mark felt across the jurisdiction as well, and secure more B2B opportunities in the Silver States and with some of its leading sportsbooks.

Commenting on this achievement Kambi CEO Werner Becher welcomed the opportunity to see his company proceed with this important step forward in expanding its North American clout and footprint, having already established a good presence in the United States. He said:

“Securing approval for our licences in Nevada is an important milestone for Kambi and a testament to our market-leading technology, regulatory expertise and corporate integrity.”

Becher welcomed Nevada as the “gold standard” for betting and gaming regulation, two important criteria that the company has been able to meet, and as such the licensure approval is another recognition of the firm’s commitment to excellence.

The licensure is also another step forward for the company in the North American market and the Americas in general, as the company seeks to increase its footprint. This is not a first for the company in the United States, however, as it has been one of the earlier entrants in the regulated sports market following the repeal of PASPA in 2018.

To date, Kambi Group provides its services across numerous sportsbooks in the United States and handles huge volumes of online wagers. The company also accepted the first online wager outside of Nevada when the first sportsbooks in the country were legalized and allowed to offer their products digitally.

Kambi Group has also been embarking on an ambitious share buyback program, with one similar move completed in early December when the company purchased $3 million of its shares.
