IGT’s Top Slots Delivered Six $1M+ Jackpots in June

Global gaming content leader International Game Technology (IGT) announced that Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slot games have delivered a whopping six life-changing jackpots to players in June alone.

The six jackpots of over a million dollars in June were won by players in California, Nevada, New Jersey and Canada.

Who Won What and Where?

The earliest jackpot stood at $2,752,887 and was won on June 8 by a player in Colusa, California. The player in question was playing IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond slot at the casino.

Four days later (June 12), another Wheel of Fortune player secured a $1,568,632 jackpot. The lucky gambler was enjoying the company’s Wheel of Fortune Pink Diamond at the California Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The following day (June 13), a Powerbucks slots player in Canada won some CAD 1,245,154 ($913,133). According to IGT, that player was enjoying its Cleopatra Grand game at the Chances Salmon Arm casino in British Columbia.

On June 15, IGT reported, yet another Wheel of Fortune player secured a life-changing $1,400,527 prize. That gambler, the company added, was playing its Wheel of Fortune Triple Red Hot 7’s at the Valley View Casino & Hotel in Valley Center, California.

After a ten-day period without another jackpot being awarded, another player in the United States managed to hit an IGT jackpot. On June 25, according to the provider, a player at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, secured $1,593,457 playing the Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold slot.

Last but not least, a second Powerbucks player in Canada won CAD 1,091,060 ($800,128) playing Wheel of Fortune Latin Gateways in Ontario on June 27.

IGT Is a Market Leader

IGT added that its Powerbucks slot games have so far paid 59 jackpots of over CAD 1 million since their launch in Canada in 2016. In the meantime, Wheel of Fortune slot games have so far created over 1,100 millionaires since their launch in 1996.

Wheel of Fortune slot games have so far awarded more than $3.5 billion in jackpots to players, changing the lives of hundreds of gamblers.

IGT’s strong suite of content has cemented the company as a preferred partner to many gambling companies and lottery operators. The Ohio Lottery, for example, recently selected IGT as its new partner, replacing Intralot.
