ICRG Appoints Nicole Scott as Director of Tribal Nations Relations and Comms
- The prestigious institution tasked with tackling problem gambling and advancing research in the area of responsible and safe gambling has appointed a new head of communications
Nicole Scott will serve as International Center for Responsible Gambling (ICRG) director of tribal-nations relations and communications, the institution confirmed in a press release. Scott will be tasked with various responsibilities, including the development and maintenance of existing relationships with tribal communities and organizations.
Tasked with Overseeing the Full Communication
She will be in charge of outreach and overseeing the entire communication activity that goes back and forth between the ICRG and the target communities and organizations. Commenting on her appointment, ICRG president Arthur Paikowsky said that Nicole would make a great fit in the position she was coming into.
He hailed her for her extensive experience in tribal relations and communications, which would only add to the value of the entire organization and what Scott has to bring to the table. Paikowsky similarly noted:

As to Scott, her experience is noteworthy indeed. She has worked with various tribal governments and casinos. She was head of marketing and business development for California Indian Legal Services and held another relevant position at LCI, where she worked as marketing and communications director.
Commenting on her appointment, Scott confirmed that she was excited to take up her new position and help the ICRG continue to pursue its responsible gambling practices across the board. She hailed the organization’s already established track record for advancing research in the sector.
