Hard Rock Bristol Is Looking for Hundreds of Workers and Staffers

The $515-million Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol in Southern Virginia is less than a month away from its grand opening – yet job vacancies remain

With the property due to open its casino floor on Thursday, November 14, to be followed by the hotel’s grand opening on Sunday, November 17, Hard Rock Bristol is still struggling to fill all the vacancies it has.

Thousands of Jobs Filled, Hundreds More Needed at Bristol Virginia

More than 1,000 people have been hired so far, but in all likelihood, the property is “a couple of hundred” jobs short, meaning that job-seekers should have the opportunity to get employed right away.

Previous experience is desirable, but Hard Rock Bristol is willing to train people who are eager to get started right away.

Preferably, however, the company would like to hire experienced spa workers and bartenders, with security officials also in high demand, as the new project expects to have a massive footfall.

Previous workers who worked at the temporary site but have not been offered reemployment to the permanent location should also reapply, as this could have been a mistake. As to the actual casino, the new location will host quite a bit of action, with 1,500 slots to begin with, and 50 live dealer table games.

Naturally, the casino will also have the customary Hard Rock Sportsbook, which will offer guests and visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in some of the best betting and sports moments.

Hard Rock Casino Set to Drive Massive Economic Windfall

The resort itself will also feature a 2,000-seat Hard Rock Live concert hall and the opening will feature a performance from Shelton with all the tickets having already sold out. As Virginia’s first integrated casino resort, Hard Rock Bristol hopes to generate a significant financial windfall and an impact on the local economy.

The feeling of the casino being a boon to the economy is already reinforced by the results of the temporary casino which posted record-setting revenue in April, pulling in an astonishing $16.3 million in adjusted gross income.
