ESPN to Host NBA Alternate Presentation with Focus on Betting

ESPN will feature its first alternate presentation for an NBA game fully driven by sports wagering content within the Daily Wager Special show. The alternate presentation will be aired tomorrow via ESPN+ and ESPN2, while the Brooklyn Nets play against the Philadelphia 76ers.

ESPN to Offer Its First Alternate Presentation for an NBA Game

ESPN has announced that for the first time ESPN+ and ESPN2 will carry an alternate presentation fully driven by sports betting content. As a part of the Daily Wager Special show, ESPN will offer its first alternate presentation for an NBA game tomorrow, April 14 at 7 p.m. ET. The event coincides with the game between Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. While the game will air on ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN2 will both carry Daily Wager Special with the first presentation, fully driven by sports wagering content.

Besides the regular commentators, the sports betting and information program, Daily Wager will also feature commentary from sports betting analysts Joe Fortenbaugh, Doug Kezirian, and Tyler Fulghum. Furthermore, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins will also participate in the discussion. Set to air from ESPN’s state-of-the-art studio at LINQ in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Daily Wager Special will feature a 15 minute pregame before tipoff and a halftime show.

According to ESPN’s announcement, Daily Wager Special coverage will feature a game telecast that will include discussion about the game action concerning pregame odds, as well as tracking live odds. Furthermore, updates on other played games as well as conference odds, and NBA Finals odds will be a part of the discussion.  

During the pregame show, the commentators are going to make a pregame prediction, while during the halftime show, graded bets will be discussed. Furthermore, the halftime show will feature a second-half betting review, as well as updates on other games from the league.
