BetMGM’s Sports Betting App Goes Live in Pennsylvania
Sports betting and online casino operator BetMGM announced Friday it launched its sports wagering app in Pennsylvania to allow state bettors to take advantage of MGM Resorts’ rewards program and further expand its presence in sports betting jurisdictions nationwide.
Excitement for Sports Fans
The announcement for the sports betting app going live in the Keystone State followed in the footsteps of the recent launch of BetMGM Casino, which offered online players in Pennsylvania the opportunity to experience firsthand the operator’s rich portfolio of exclusive slot and table games.
“The response to BetMGM Casino in Pennsylvania has been incredible and we’re thrilled to bring our best-in-class sports betting offering to the Keystone State.”
Adam Greenblatt, CEO, BetMGM
Besides traditional games such as blackjack, roulette, and video poker, among other online casino and slot games, the portfolio of BetMGM Casino features an expansive array of slot tournaments and state-exclusive progressive jackpots, adding value to the game experience.
The BetMGM sports betting app is expected to entice Pennsylvania bettors with its user-friendly features which allow for easy customization for pre-game, live in-play, futures, and parlay wagers.
“Pennsylvania is known for its legendary sports fans and we look forward to sharing the excitement of BetMGM with them.”
Adam Greenblatt, CEO, BetMGM
Play Redeemed with World-Class Experiences
The integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program will make sure dedicated sports fans in Pennsylvania have a real chance for world-class experiences while redeeming their gameplay, at any MGM property across the country, including popular resorts such as the Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Borgata in Atlantic City and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
Even prior to the launch of its online casino offering in the state, BetMGM signed a deal with the National Football League (NFL) franchise Pittsburg Steelers, to become its official gaming partner.
The agreement between BetMGM and the Steelers would allow both sides to collaborate on various initiatives looking to further engage sports fans with the team, including the Steelers Kickoff pre-game show, team broadcast programming, in-stadium signage, and a range of digital marketing assets on social media and other channels.
The launch of BetMGM’s sports betting app in Pennsylvania further expands the operator’s presence across the country, making the Keystone State the 7th to feature its app, besides Colorado, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
