BetMGM Extends Its Vegas Golden Knights Partnership for Several More Years

NHL’s very own Vegas Golden Knights have extended their partnership with BetMGM as the professional hockey team has labeled BetMGM a company that represents a key factor to the entertainment and sports industry. With the new multi-year renewal, the NHL franchise will have both MGM Resorts International and Entain as its official betting partners. This is another major move by Entain, after extending its RMG deal until 2026.

All Parties Are Thrilled to Continue Working Together

The president of the Vegas Golden Knights, Kerry Bubolz, affirmed the fact that BetMGM is the key to the sports and entertainment industry in the franchise’s community and that is why the team is delighted to extend the partnership.

On the other hand, BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, Matt Prevost, stated that BetMGM is thrilled to continue working with the Vegas Golden Nights and provide fans with unique experiences that are available only on its platform.

Thanks to the renewal, the signage of BetMGM will be featured in the T-Mobile Arena and the brand will be provided with extra exposure on Knight Tron. As part of that exposure, BetMGM will be featured in numerous marketing campaigns, web advertisements, co-branded sweepstakes, and VIP chat talks.

BetMGM Has Had a Successful Year So Far

Recently, BetMGM was crowned at the SBC Awards North America ceremony as it was recognized as the 2021 Casino Operator of the Year. The ceremony took place at the Edison Ballroom in New York and more than 400 US and Canadian iGaming and sports betting executives were in attendance.

Additionally, the company reinforced its market presence in Mississippi as it started offering on-site mobile betting at Beau Rivage, which is owned by MGM Resorts International.  And if that is not enough, it helped Pariplay to continue expanding on the North American market by inking a content deal. With this partnership, Pariplay will provide its own content and third-party content for players at BetMGM in Michigan and New Jersey.

During that period, it also expanded its New York presence by signing a deal with Madison Square Garden Sports Corp and Madison Square Garden Entertainment. November resulted in the opening of the first BetMGM retail sportsbook in Arizona as the company partnered with Gila River Hotels & Casinos. The sportsbook will be located at Vee Quiva and it will be one of three in total.  

Brand ambassadors were also the main focus of BetMGM as it relentlessly pursued various expansion campaigns. Recently, the company inked a deal with Chris Johnson, and earlier, it even partnered with Kevin Garnett, an NBA legend. Wayne Gretzky is also among the brand ambassadors signed by BetMGM in 2021.
