BetMGM and SportsGrid Extend and Expand Strategic Partnership
US sports betting and gaming operator BetMGM announced today that its existing strategic partnership with SportsGrid has been expanded and extended via a new multi-year agreement.
Sports Betting Insight on Live Shows
The new agreement between the joint gaming brand of Entain and MGM Resorts International and the nation’s first live sports wagering streaming video network will see BetMGM’s trading team and experts provide invaluable insight for Ferrall Coast to Coast, Pro Football Today, In-Game Live Primetime, and other SportsGrid broadcasts.
Warren Sharp, SportsGrid’s lead pro football analyst who will provide reports from MGM Resorts properties including MGM National Harbor in Maryland, commented on the announcement expressing his excitement to contribute to the new initiative.
“I am excited to provide BetMGM customers and SportsGrid’s nationwide audience with my real time insights and analytics throughout the NFL regular season and playoffs,” Sharp stated, outlining the “unique perspective” under the partnership to offer his takes in “NFL matchups, spread, over/under and money lines,” as well as future odds and player props.
The entirety of Ferrall Coast to Coast will now feature BetMGM’s odds and promotions under the extended partnership while Sharp’s live reports will also be distributed across all SportsGrid’s content platforms, including video streaming network, website, and digital syndication publisher network, as well as both partner’s social media properties.
‘In Time for the Football Season’
Hailing SportsGrid as the “ideal partner,” BetMGM’s chief revenue officer Matt Prevost said that the partnership would look to provide additional sports betting content for its customers “just in time for the start of the football season.”
On behalf of SportsGrid, chief operating officer Adam Kaplan expressed the company’s excitement at the opportunity to expand the existing partnership with BetMGM.
“By further leveraging SportsGrid’s media-as-a-service model, BetMGM will benefit from the scale of our network’s audience and distribution footprints, the integration of top talent like Warren Sharp and the live content production from premier MGM Resorts properties,” added Kaplan.
BetMGM and SportsGrid initially partnered in February for the integration of BetMGM’s sports betting content into the live programming of the nation’s first and only 24-hour sports wagering streaming network to help the gaming brand expand its reach nationwide.
Besides featuring BetMGM’s odds and promotions on its live shows, SportsGrid gained access to the sports betting brand’s trading team and global ambassadors, as well as other resources to help the video streaming network create exclusive content.
