Betby Secures Approval for Esports Solution from MGA
The latest approval enables the operator to continue growing the reach of its innovative esports solution

Betby, the fast-growing and innovative sports solutions and technology provider, secured an important regulatory approval, paving the way for its further expansion. The company confirmed today it was granted regulatory approval from the gambling regulator in Malta, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to deliver its esports odds feed portfolio as an esports product.
The Authority’s approval follows an extensive audit and assessment. Ultimately, Betby’s solution complied with all requirements outlined by the MGA, resulting in the aforementioned regulatory approval.
Now, thanks to the green light given by the gambling regulator in Malta, the company can roll out its esports odds feed, powering gambling operators that hold an MGA license. Such operators can now access Betby’s live and pre-match odds, statistics hub, results and round-the-clock content coverage. This can be achieved via Betby’s Sportsbook solution or via a separate esports data feed, the company explained. Besides MGA-licensed operators, the esports solution can also be accessed by operators in regions where MGA licenses are accepted.
Ahead of ICE London, one of the most anticipated events for the gambling sector this year, Betby confirmed its plans to introduce a range of AI-based sportsbook tools. Additionally, the company hinted it will showcase its sportsbook solution.
The green light granted by the MGA follows a recent regulatory action. Earlier this month, the gambling regulator confirmed it revoked Super7plus Limited’s authorization.
MGA’s Approval Represents a Major Milestone for Betby
Ilze Ramolina, Betby’s head of legal, praised the company’s latest achievement. She spoke about the importance of MGA’s approval and thanked the gambling regulator for the effective cooperation. “Approval of the esports odds feed is an important addition to our existing verticals,” added Ramolina. Finally, she confirmed that Betby anticipates growing further and expanding the reach of its products to more markets.
“We are very proud to have received this approval from the Malta Gaming Authority.“

Eva Berkova, Betby’s chief operating officer, added that securing approval for its esports product from the MGA represents a major milestone for the company. She spoke about the continuous investment of Betby in its esports product. “The unique nature of the Betby.Games product – as we have branded it in-house – perfectly complements the esports ecosystem by allowing for greater player engagement due to it covering gaps present in the traditional live esports content calendar,” added Berkova. Finally, she said that operators are already enjoying the benefits of the company’s innovative esports product portfolio.
