Baltimore Ravens Looking Like Super Bowl Material
Their 2024 NFL record is 2-2, which isn’t great, but these guys have produced some really good performances so far. They did start the season with two straight losses but then went on to slay two real giants – Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.
The Week 4 game against the Bills was their arguably best performance not only this season but in many, many months. John Harbaugh’s men won the game 35:10, inflicting the Bills their worst loss since November 21, 2021.

The Ravens’ defense was brilliant that day, stopping Buffalo’s QB Josh Allen from throwing for a single touchdown for the first time since the final day of 2023. Their offense was even more impressive, with QB Lamar Jackson throwing 13-for-18 for 156 yards and 2 TDs. Last season’s MVP also scored one rushing TD, and so did running back Derrick Henry, who also gained rushing 199 yards for his team.
Herny also did great catching the ball, recording one receiving TD. The other one was the work of Justice Hill who’s been one of Baltimore’s best receivers in 2024.
Can Cincinnati Bengals Handle Baltimore Ravens’ Ground Game?
The Bengals started the season with three losses in a row before finally getting a win last weekend. They defeated the Carolina Panthers 34:24 on the road, which was kind of expected given that the boys from Charlotte just aren’t great in 2024.
Before that, the Bengals lost to the Washington Commanders, Kansas City Chiefs, and New England Patriots. In all of those games, their Joe Burrow-led offense did okay, but their defense was horrible.
The worst thing is that Cincinnati’s defensive team seems to be particularly vulnerable to rushing. They’re shared seventh worst in the league when it comes to rushing yards allowed. This could be a huge problem in Week 5 when they’re supposed to try and deal with RB Derrick Henry.
As a Tennessee player, Henry’s average in the four games against the Bengals was 81.0 rushing yards and 0.5 TDs per game.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction
We predict that the Ravens’ ground game will be too much for the Bengals’ defense. Henry is bound to get himself at least one rushing touchdown, and we wouldn’t be surprised if QB Jackson did the same. We also predict that the Ravens’ defense will do a fine job of keeping Burrow at bay. All of this means that they should be able to get a win, probably covering the spread along the way.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens -2.5
