Atlantic Lottery Teams up with IGT for Innovative iLottery Solutions
The deal will see IGT power the Lottery with its RGS technology and games through 2029, with the potential of year-by-year extensions through 2034
The leading lottery technology provider, powering most of the world’s largest lotteries across the globe, International Game Technology (IGT), announced it signed a new North American-facing agreement. On Wednesday, the company revealed it joined forces with Atlantic Lottery Corporation, agreeing to deliver its high-performing features and instant games, supercharging the offering of the lottery.
Per the freshly minted agreement, the Atlantic Lottery will benefit from IGT’s technology, games and solutions for the next five years, through April 2029. However, the strategic deal includes five one-year extension options, allowing the duo to extend their collaboration through 2034.
Per the latest alliance, IGT will grant the lottery operator access to its remote game server (RGS), delivering a minimum of 16 digital instant games per year. Thanks to the collaboration, the operator will benefit from accessing a range of quality games, including licensed titles, award-winning progressive jackpot games and player-favorite instant games.
Undoubtedly, the collaboration will benefit the Atlantic Lottery, considering the range of customization options IGT’s games provide. Additionally, the lottery operator will benefit from the provider’s cross-channel capabilities, ensuring exceptional experiences for players within digital and retail channels. IGT’s quality platform has already proven its effectiveness across the globe by boosting the performance of lotteries while increasing player engagement.
The Collaboration Complements the Growth of the Duo
Srini Nedunuri, IGT’s SVP, global iLottery, spoke about the benefits the new collaboration will bring to the two companies. He explained that IGT is delighted to deliver its innovative solutions, powering the growth of the Atlantic Lottery. Finally, Nedunuri outlined: “We look forward to helping the Atlantic Lottery further grow its business and reach new players in the region with our reliable RGS technology and top-performing iLottery games.”
“As the largest digital instant market in Canada, Atlantic Lottery is pleased to partner with IGT and offer our players dynamic digital instant games from IGT’s comprehensive content portfolio.“
Robert LaLonde, iGaming director at the Atlantic Lottery Corporation
Robert LaLonde, the Atlantic Lottery’s iGaming director, was just as thrilled about the latest activation. He said that it would be great for the Lottery to leverage the quality technology supplied by IGT. Last but not least, LaLonde predicted that the new deal would help the Atlantic Lottery strengthen its offering while delivering exceptional experiences for its growing number of players.
Back in April, IGT announced it had resolved its legal conflict with Acres. Although the company confirmed that the legal hurdle was resolved, particular details were not disclosed.
