Atlanta Falcons vs. Las Vegas Raiders 2024 NFL Odds, Time, and Prediction
The Atlanta Falcons face the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, December 16, at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas. Here are our NFL Week 15 picks and predictions for this Monday Night Football showdown.
The Atlanta Falcons are 6-7 right now, coming to Vegas after four straight losses. Luckily for them, they’re playing against the Las Vegas Raiders, who lost each of their last nine games.
Knowing all this, it’s no surprise that the Falcons are seen as a 3.5 favorite in the MNF game. We think they’re going to beat the Raiders, but will they be able to cover the spread? Let’s find out!

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada
- Date: Monday, December 16, 2024
- Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
- How to Watch: ESPN
It’s High Time for QB Kirk Cousins to Shine
Kirk Cousins hasn’t thrown a touchdown in four straight games, which has made Atlanta fans demand Michael Penix Jr. be put in the starting quarterback role. However, for the time being, coach Raheem Morris is sticking with the 36-year-old veteran.
While he’s struggled recently, we all know how good he is. It’s only a matter of time before Cousins breaks out. Fortunately for Atlanta, they have a couple of decent runners on the offensive team that could step up if Cousins disappoints again.
Led by Bijan Robinson, Atlanta’s rushing game has been more than solid. Plus, The Raiders’ weak run defense gives Robinson & Co. a very good opportunity to dominate on the ground.
Another thing going in favor of the Falcons is that they’ve been solid defensively. They have every right to hope for a good result in the MNF game, especially given that the Raiders are going to be without their starting QB, Aidan O’Connell.
Adding to the intrigue, the Falcons will face their former quarterback, Desmond Ridder, who, let’s put it this way, doesn’t seem like NFL caliber.
Do the Raiders Even Care About the 2024 NFL Season?
The Las Vegas Raiders are the worst team in the American Football Conference, with just two wins and 11 losses. Even though they have four more games to play in the regular season of the 202 NFL, their chance of making the Playoffs is zero.
In fact, in the best-case scenario, the Raiders would finish in third spot in the AFC West. But for that, they would need to win every single game until the end, which doesn’t seem realistic. The thing is that their form is horrible, with nine losses in a row. Plus, their starting QB is out with an injury, reducing their chances even further.
It seems that they’ve given up on the season, with many of their fans praying for a few more losses. Why? Because it would get them the No. 1 spot in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Las Vegas Raiders Week 15 Prediction
If the Falcons win the Week 15 MNF game, their chance of making the 2024 Playoffs will go up to 50%. This is an opportunity they mustn’t miss, especially knowing that their schedule in the rest of the season looks more than okay.
Our prediction is that they’re gonna go all-in on Monday night, grabbing a much-needed blowout win that would boost their confidence.
Pick: Atlanta Falcons -3.5
