Americas Cardroom to Sponsor Poker at Enjoy Punta del Este
Popular poker site Americas Cardroom is heading to Uruguay to host a series of land-based events over the next two years.
More Live Poker Arrives to Uruguay’s Land-Based Casino
Americas Cardroom (ACR) has revealed a new initiative that will place poker players at the center of the action. The renowned online poker website is hosting a land-based tournament at Enjoy Punta del Este in Uruguay as part of an official sponsorship with the poker room at the casino resort.
Players will be able to win packages for a series of land-based events directly through ACR‘s online platform, with the partnership established for a period of at least two years. Enjoy Punta del Este is touted as the biggest Latin American casino, and it has some of the most luxurious casino and hospitality amenities to offer.
The property has 294 rooms, nine restaurants, bars and more. ACR will focus on arranging the poker action on the casino floor and offer international and regional players new opportunities to explore competitive cardroom outside the World Series of Poker (WSOP) format.
The packages that players can win on merit at ACR include airfare, hotel accommodations and spending money, making for a great choice for anyone looking to make a splash in their first land-based poker appearance in Uruguay. ACR already has experience with similar arrangements after sponsoring the Punta Cana Poker Classic for a decade.
A Long History of Hosting Poker Events
The company also hosted the Cage Live land-based poker tournament, which was held on weekends throughout the year. ACR has been actively trying to compete with the WSOP while still sending many of its players to the poker world’s crowning event in Las Vegas.
Similarly, ACR has made it possible for many players to join various Latin Series of Poker events. While Americas Cardroom is still sorting out the details for the land-based schedule, more information should be coming soon. For those looking to play at Enjoy Punta del Este, the opportunity will be there very soon. Recently, ACR introduced the Venom PKO III event, with a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.
