Adin Ross and Sliker Address Twitch’s Gambling Restrictions

Ross and Sliker commented on the Amazon-owned platform’s restrictions on gambling with the former emphasizing the latter’s involvement in the changes

Controversial streamer Adin Ross recently spoke with ItsSliker, a fellow streamer whose gambling problems are said to have played a role in Twitch’s decision to restrict gambling streams. Ross casually derided Sliker for his involvement with the drama and its serious repercussions on the overall gambling community.

Sliker Was Involved in Huge Drama

Sliker, for context, is a former Team Liquid member who was accused of stealing money from his fans and fellow content creators. Under the pretense of needing money, he would take various sums from his audience and streamer friends and gamble it online.

Sliker later opened up about his addiction, saying that it all stems from CS:GO skins. In older streams he said that his story should be an example and teach others about the dangers of gambling.

The ItsSliker drama triggered outrage against gambling content on the Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch. This eventually prompted Twitch to introduce much stricter restrictions on gambling streams, banning operators such as Stake from its platform.

Ross and Sliker Talk Gambling

In the recent interview Ross had Sliker turn on his camera and smilingly started lambasting Sliker’s involvement in the changes introduced on Twitch.

You are the one who got Twitch banning; You are the reason that casinos got banned on Twitch, bro, aren’t you? You, like, didn’t even lose it at Stake, you lost it at sports betting, bro.

Ross and Sliker continued their banter with the former implying that Sliker makes the Jewish community “look bad.”

Sliker emphasized that gambling was very addictive to him. He noted that some of his most pleasurable moments have been masturbating while watching his bets on a separate screen.

Sliker Slammed Twitch as a “Shit Platform”

Sliker and Ross proceeded to talk about Twitch’s restrictions, which eventually led to both streamers being banned from the platform. The former slammed the Amazon-owned service as a “shit platform,” questioning whether Ross would ever like to return there.

Ross said that he appreciated the freedom he gets on Kick, which allowed him to say whatever he wanted. However, he added that he misses collaborating with his friends. To that, Sliker responded that they “are not his friends anymore.”

If they were your friends, they wouldn’t care about cancel culture.

Adin Ross has been actively trying to get his Twitch ban lifted. While Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has demonstrated patience, saying that he would talk with Ross, many Twitch users and content creators have remained outspoken in their desire to keep Ross banned.
