SolutionsHub Helps Evolution Get Isle of Man Software Supplier License

Leading business-to-business solution provider for casino operators offering live casino, live game shows, and slots, Evolution, has expanded its services in the Isle of Man with the help of a new software supplier license issued by the authorities in the jurisdiction.

The software supplier software license was obtained with support from eGaming consultancy SolutionsHub, a company that specializes in empowering “the growth and success of Isle of Man egaming businesses by simplifying licensing, regulatory and operational complexities.”

As a result of SolutionsHub offering its support throughout the entire length of the licensing process, Evolution can now make its innovative and compliant solutions available for licensed gaming operators in the self-governing British Crown Dependency in the Irish Sea, located between Great Britain and Ireland.

More Software Providers Interested in Proving Their Worth to Operators

The interest expressed by gaming companies in the jurisdiction which has gradually turned into a noteworthy online gaming hub thanks to its legislation has constantly increased in the last few years, making Evolution’s license a critical milestone in its growth in the region.

As explained by SolutionsHub’s head of operations, James O’Kelly, there has been an important boost in the number of software providers looking to obtain a license in the Isle of Man, as “they recognize the value of demonstrating that they are a trustworthy partner for gaming operators.” 

This licensing procedure also required support from Digital Isle of Man, the executive agency within the Isle of Man Government’s Department for Enterprise that supports the tech sector, and the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, the independent statutory board of the Isle of Man Government established in 1962. 

Digital Isle of Man’s strategic partnership manager, Tara Leneghan, expressed their thrill to have been able to support Evolution with navigating the eGaming landscape in the jurisdiction, next to SolutionsHub.

Ongoing Growth 

In July, the developer that leads the way in business-to-business online casino services delivered to customers’ players with the help of multiple channels and devices expressed its intention to acquire casino table games provider Galaxy Gaming for $85 million.

The acquisition would help Evolution strengthen its foothold in the US. The transaction, which is currently pending regulatory approvals, is expected to close sometime in mid-2025.

Besides the announced acquisition, the company, which has partnered with reputable names in the industry including DraftKings, 888casino, BetFair, Betsson, and Entain, has also extended its operations in the US market when it launched live casino games in the Delaware via a partnership inked with BetRivers at the start of July. 

The new Isle of Man license once again proves Evolution’s unaltered commitment to excellence.
