2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction

It’s time for the sixth race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. The event in question is the Texas Grand Prix a.k.a. 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, which will take place at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

The 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix is one of the road course races of the NASCAR Cup Series, which will take place in the state of Texas. The location is Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, which is where the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix takes place.

Also known as the Texas Grand Prix, this race was run only three times so far, with Chase Elliot winning the inaugural event, and Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick winning the next two. Who’s going to win the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix in 2024? That’s the question we’ll try to answer in this preview.

When, Where, and How to Watch?

Tyler Reddick Coming to COTA as No. 1 Favorite

Tyler Reddick is 9th in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Drivers’ Championship standings with his best finish this year being second place in Las Vegas a month ago. In the other four races, he finished once in 10th position, once in 29th, and two times in 30th.

So, why do NASCAR sportsbooks see him as the main favorite to win the 2024 Texas Grand Prix? Because this is a road course event, which he seems to love.

Further, this guy hasn’t been as bad as some of his 2024 results may suggest. In the previous race, for example, he had the lead before suffering a crash.

Shane van Gisbergen is a Road Course Ringer to Watch Out For

Shane van Gisbergen is one of the most notable road course ringers, that is, a driver who does well in events where there are both left and right turns. He’s been competing professionally since 2004, but he’s only driven two road races in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Both of those happened last year, with the first of those being a victory for van Gisbergen. He won the 2023 Grant Park 220. In his second race, he finished 10th in the 2023 Verizon 200 at the Brickyard race.

2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix Prediction

Shane van Gisbergen is an expert for these sorts of races, so we’re sure he’s going to do great on March 24, 2024. We do think he’s got a great chance to win the race, although it’s not going to be easy as everyone’s fired up for Sunday’s event.

This is why a much safer betting option in our eyes is van Gisbergen finishing in the top 5. And if you want to play it really safe, go with van Gisbergen finishing in the top 10.

Pick: Shane van Gisbergen Top 5 Finish
